This is a drawing someone asked me to rework so they could get it tattooed. The anatomy was a li’l funky… and now it’s less so.

Tattoo For A Friend

Just some goofing off in Bryce. Took maybe 10 minutes, and most of that was picking textures. I really want to reinstall it and get it working properly, but I think there are a couple of problems with that involving OS9 and the fact that it doesn’t exist any more for all intents and purposes…
Just a warmup sketch. Charcoal. Took maybe 20 minutes… and it’s about a foot across I think.
These are illustrations for the first project I did at the publishing company I work for. It was my very first experience with Illustrator… Good thing I learn fast!
This was an ink drawing I did from a reference photo, no pencil layout beforehand. It’s about 2 feet across.
A sketch I did for the Tai Chi teacher here; she wanted a picture of Yoda, and this was the concept I gave her. The final ink version was 2 feet tall. This took ‘tween 20 and 40 minutes.
An ink sketch of a random cat… looks like one I had at one point though. My scanner made it all fuzzy… there must be a better way!
This is the first real thing I colored in Photoshop that didn’t suck.
A watercolor I did for my cousin’s husband a couple Christmases ago. He’s apparently a big fan. Not bad for my first watercolor in… like 10 years.
