I got stuck at the light on 101 the other day on my way to work, and it was a really beautiful morning… so I memorized every details I could, and did this quick, as a color study sort of thing. Photoshop, mouse, a cool brush I got from someone one time…

Here’s the tattoo Pam wants to get. I drew it out with her pointing out things she liked and didn’t, then we drew it in henna on her belly, where she’d like to get it… and she’s pretty giddy with the design. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out too.

Pam asked me to design a tattoo for her, in a henna kind of style with lots of cherry blossoms. I did this as sort of a concept, liked it enough to color it, but knew it wouldn’t be what she wanted. So… next I’ll post the one she liked and helped design that was a progression from this ‘un.

This was a quick design for a friend who wanted to get tattooed on her honeymoon. They decided against it, being in a strange city and all.

I had a major Lion King phase long ago, and to date it’s one of my favorite animated films ever. Just a quick sketch, circa 1995 or so.

This is an original tattoo design I came up with for a coworker long ago… Also one of my first photoshop experiments. Don’t worry, they get better.

One of these days I’m going to repaint it with what I know now. D’oh.
