I got stuck at the light on 101 the other day on my way to work, and it was a really beautiful morning… so I memorized every details I could, and did this quick, as a color study sort of thing.  Photoshop, mouse, a cool brush I got from someone one time…

Tattoo For A Friend 4.5

Here’s the tattoo Pam wants to get.  I drew it out with her pointing out things she liked and didn’t, then we drew it in henna on her belly, where she’d like to get it… and she’s pretty giddy with the design.  I’m pretty happy with how it turned out too.

Pam asked me to design a tattoo for her, in a henna kind of style with lots of cherry blossoms.  I did this as sort of a concept, liked it enough to color it, but knew it wouldn’t be what she wanted.  So… next I’ll post the one she liked and helped design that was a progression from this ‘un.

I loved Daniel Craig as James Bond.  Lately I’ve been doing ink sketches of characters I really like and this is one.
